The first customs supervised export warehouse in northern Jiangsu province - Xuzhou Economic development zone customs supervised export warehoused approved by Nanjing customs

On October 19th ,2009, Nanjing customs had given an official reply to approve the establishment of HK’s Xuzhou Economic development zone customs supervised export warehoused (official document No.(2009)424. The export warehouse include export distribution warehouse (5000m2 inbound area and 5000m2 outbound area) and domestic export warehouse (1000m2 inbound warehouse)

The establishment of the first customs supervised export warehouse in northern Jiangsu province had made a great progress to the bonded logistics construction in Jiangsu area. It will contribute a lot to the completeness of city’s import & export logistics system and the development of city’s bonded logistics.

Export supervised warehouse is customs supervised warehouse which offers the warehousing/distribution/value-added service of export cargoes.

Classification: the export supervised warehouse can be divided into two kinds: export distribution warehouse and domestic export warehouse. The export distribution warehouse is for the cargo whose destinations are abroad. While the domestic export warehouse is for cargo which used for domestic settlement or transit.

Functions: the export supervised warehouse can store the following cargo approved by Customs: export cargo under general trade/export cargo under processing/other export cargo transit from customs special supervised site/ LCL export cargo/other packing material which already finish the customs declaration process.

Tax: the export cargo which stored within export supervised warehouse will pay the tax by the consignor or agency according to Chinese Laws and regulations. For the approval tax-refund cargo, customs will sign the related documents after cargo entering the warehouse. While the no tax-refund cargo, Customs will sign the related documents after cargo leaving the borderland.

Cargo shift: For quality reasons, if the cargo needs to be sending back or change to factory, the cargo can be shift approved by local customs. Before out of the warehouse, the shift cargo shall be entering the warehouse first. The shift cargo must had the equal commodity code/name/model/quantity/value to the original ones.
